Product Description

Product description:

This type of polyethylene powder coating is a thermoplastic powder coating modified with anti-aging agent, glue, pigment and pigment based on polyethylene resin. It has excellent adhesion and anti-corrosion properties, and is possessed by polyethylene itself with good chemical stability, electrical insulation, low temperature resistance. The coating film has excellent weather resistance, corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, electrical insulation properties, and has good surface decoration properties.

Application areas:

  • Applicable to all kinds of steel baskets and other anti-corrosion coating.

  • Applicable to all kinds of special battery casings, new energy vehicle chassis and other anti-corrosion coating.

  • Applicable to all kinds of daily necessities, auto parts and other anti-corrosion coating.

  • Applicable to all kinds of passenger car chassis and other anti-corrosion coating.

Physical properties:

  • Non-volatile content: ≥99.5%

  • Dry fluidity: fluidization floating ≥15-25%

  • Specific gravity: 0.91-0.95 (varies by color)

  • Average particle size: 180-260 microns

  • Melt index: 30-45g/10min

  • Packing: Packed in composite paper bag, net weight 20kg per bag

  • Storage: Avoid near fire sources. Store in a ventilated, dry room below 40 °C for 2 years. Re-tested after expiration, if it is qualified, it can still be used.

Application note:

  • Surface treatment: according to the substrate and the required properties, the surface of the substrate should be neutral after treatment;

  • Workpiece dip temperature: 230-280 ° C (according to the heat capacity of the workpiece and room temperature adjustment, the appropriate preheating conditions are determined in order to obtain a smooth coating film, while also preventing the film from heat aging at high temperatures);

  • Coating by dip coating or fill-in suction coating method, after removing the workpiece, 180-220 ° C / 0-5 min (adjusted according to the heat capacity of the workpiece and the melt flow index of the powder), plasticizing and leveling, air cooling or natural cooling to Room temperature.

Film properties:

  • Color (GB 9761) No obvious difference in visual inspection (compared with standard plate)

  • Appearance (visual inspection) Smooth and smooth (allows a slight orange peel)

  • Coating film thickness μm (GB/T 1764) 400~2000

  • Gloss% (GB-9754, 60°) ≥60

  • Bending (film thickness 200μm) (GB 6742) ≤ 2mm

  • Shore hardness (D) (GB 2411) 45~55

  • Vicat softening point (°C) (GB 1633) 70-85

  • Electrical strength Kv/mm (GB 1408) >19

  • Volume resistivity Ω broken (GB 1410) 1012-1015

  • Low temperature resistance (Q/HJ 008-2003) -35 ° C, no cracks for 60 h

  • Adhesion (10mm width 180° peeling) ≥3Kg/10mm (coating is broken, picking is judged to be acceptable)

  • Cathodic resistance peeling 65 ° C, 48h (ST / T 0442) ≤ 2mm

Chemical resistance

  • Reagent 5% HCI soak 7d (GB/T 1865) No change in appearance coating

  • Soaked in 5% NaOH for 7d (GB/T 1763) No change in appearance coating

  • Soaked in 5% NaCI for 7d (GB/T 1763) No change in appearance coating

Health and safety:

This powder coating is a non-toxic product, but should avoid inhaling dust during use. It is recommended that operators wear appropriate dust masks and glasses. If possible, try to avoid long-term skin contact with powder coatings.
